Shift Your Focus to Let Go, NOT to What You Want
In many self-help books often explain how we make the intent (intent) to achieve what we want. During this time many people who think intent as "something That We Want to Happen". Therefore, our conscious mind trying to find the positive intent and happy.
Often we are taught how to make the intent that its 3P: Positive, Precise, Present. So intent is defined at the beginning and endeavored to happen because we believe such a scenario the best. Intent of this kind can be successful. But usually when you do not succeed, we may feel like a failure and thinks there is a wrong process.

The basic steps we often forget to do self improvement, both in terms of general knowledge, special skills, to the desire to achieve a capability that exceeds the ability of average people. Which this has been a dream of most people, to bearing the title of populists. Excelling in every aspect of life. However, no effort then the quality of self will not progress as expected.
Quality itself is very important and very influential in guiding one's journey to success. Because the quality of self is closely related to how much one is able to take action, which requires its own expertise in the field that he wrestled. so that a person has a strong conviction to the plane that was involved.

The definition of self-development is "The individuals who develop the knowledge, skills and their abilities through the efforts directed by themselves." From the definition it is clear that these approaches reflect the principles of participation and independence. How self-development approach implicitly incorporate important features of learning autonomy embodied in the creation of self-reliance, responsibility, and courage to take risks.
Process Development
Apply self-development requires individuals to consider and answer three important questions. The answers do not be definitive, even in fact the answer is often more tentative than certain. For most people, it is advantageous because flexibility is important. The questions are:

How heavy your pressing issues?

Expand soul, rejoice with any problems.
For many people, the big problem which must lead to greater pressure. is not it? The problem of lack of money $ 10,000 is clearly different from the problem of lack of money $ 5 million. But is the pressure exerted is the same two problems as well? Not necessarily!
In physics we know a formula of pressure. It is a style compared to the cross-sectional area. P = F / A. (P = pressure, F = Force A = Area of cross-section). In the mental and emotional life, the pressure is your stress level. Style is the magnitude of the problems you face. Cross -sectional area is the condition of your soul breadth.
Let us understand with additional illustrations and a bucket of water. For example there is a size 5 liter bucket. If you put water into it as much as 3 liters, then the bucket can contain it. There was no water is spilled. This is the same whether you are still able to stay calm when faced with a problem which is smaller than the vastness of your soul. But, when incorporated as much as 6 liters of water, it will spill 1 liter.

We've all arrived at those moments when we feel overwhelmed by trying circumstances within our life. We've done all we can, bearing up without great success or relief. And in our frustration and fatigue, we've probably looked up to heaven and asked: "How can you possibly ask more of me?"
If we could hear clearly through our distress, we'd probably hear heaven lovingly reply: "'We' are not."
And this is a most compassionate and instructive answer, for our lessons are never "sent" to punish or defeat us. So when we find ourselves truly anguished by our challenges, we can be sure that it is "we" that need to be reminded we've done enough.
While our circumstances and life-lessons will certainly make demands on us, it is the "added" weight of our own self-judgment -- our impatience with ourselves and our life, our "sense" of failure or injustice, our fear -- that actually depletes our strength and overwhelms us.
Heaven knows that we learn, grow, and heal best when we're balanced and light. This balance and lightness, however, is largely our responsibility. And while there is great "higher" support for us during our times of personal challenge, not even heaven can remove a strain "we" are actively imposing on ourselves.
So when we feel pushed to the breaking point, it is we who must ease up on the pushing.

Two approaches in viewing a problem
In my experience working and interacting with many people, I observe there are two types of people in the face of trouble or problems, whether in work or social life. Two types are reactive (reacting so problems come) and receptive (to accept the problem).

Strategic Steps Maintaining Motivation
One factor that prevents you from success is the lack of motivation. How many times have you said, "I want to be rich", "I want to succeed" but you do not show in your actions that you can be rich and you can succeed.
